This week we proudly celebrated the achievements of our QATSIF scholarship recipient graduating at UniSC. Your dedication, resilience, and commitment to your education are an inspiration to us all. The QATSIF (Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation) scholarships empower Indigenous to succeed - and today, we honour that success. Well done!

𝗚𝗢𝗠𝗔 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻🎨

The year 11 and 12 visual arts students had a wonderful excursion last week to the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane. General Visual Art and Visual Art In Practice students visited the gallery to view the exhibitions "Kith and Kin" by Archie Moore, and "Creative Generation 2026." We were able to see our own student, Felicity Taskis's work in the Creative Generation exhibition as well!

Last week, some of our students had the incredible opportunity to attend an inspiring session at Caloundra RSL with motivational speaker Justin Jones – ‘Jonesy’. 🙌

Jonesy is an international keynote speaker, explorer, documentary producer, storyteller and… a tired dad. His message encourages young people to believe in themselves, embrace challenges and understand that their circumstances don’t have to define their future.

Our students were captivated by his story and the positive messages he shared. 💙

A huge thank you to Caloundra RSL and Jonesy for an incredibly inspiring experience! 👏✨
