A SPECIAL WELCOME: As a warm welcome to our School, our Cranbrook Boarding Community had the pleasure of hosting our Head of School, Dr Anne Johnstone, and her family for dinner.

To extend her gratitude for their kindness, this week, Dr Johnstone surprised Students during recess with the most delicious cheesecakes - they went down a treat!

Alistair Harvey Sutton (OC 1949) vividly recalls that his Cranbrook school days were dominated by WWII. He also has fond cricket memories that spawned a lifelong passion for the sport and a connection with his beloved Hordern Oval.

CONGRATS to (OC 2004) and his wife Hannah Barlow who have been nominated for Best Film and Best Director at the awards for their .movie (which they both wrote and directed). They are up against the likes of and George Miller.
Sissy had it's world premiere at in Austin in March where it sold to major horror streamer . The Australian premiere was held then and was the opening night film of the in Perth.
It has won audience awards at four major genre film festivals, most recently in Spain, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, in New Orleans and Atlanta "Out on Film" Film Festival.
movie is out in theatres in Australia on 3 Nov .au and with 31 Oct previews in select cinemas, just in time for

The AACTA Awards will be televised on on 7 December.

The Class of 2022 is the first cohort to graduate in the new Vicars Centenary Building

It was a cracking day on Sydney Harbour as 9 crews prayed for wind to get them around the 3 Island Classic course last Sunday.
Congratulations to Monkey Magic in 1st place, skippered by Mark Dagworthy (OC 1996), Crowded Haus in 2nd place, skippered by Graeme Neuhaus (OC 1970) and Next in 3rd place, skippered by Jon Short (OC 1980).
Young One, skippered by Michael Morgan (OC 1980), was presented with the AJ Reed trophy.

We welcomed close to 60 Old Cranbrookians from the Class of 1980 to the School on Saturday 6 August. The weather was perfect and the banter was non stop!
