We are VERY excited to welcome Play Matters Ipswich to Bellbird Park State School! 🎉

They’re moving in and becoming part of our BPSS community — bringing even more opportunities for play, connection, learning and support for our children and families.

📢 We're Moving!
Exciting things are happening for Play Matters Ipswich and HIPPY Goodna!
From Tuesday 6 October, we'll be welcoming families to our new home at Bellbird Park State School.
Our new location offers:
✅ Easier parking
✅ Improved accessibility for prams and mobility aids
✅ More room to play and connect
✅ Access to outdoor play spaces
✅ One convenient sign-in location
The good news? Our programs, session times and friendly team are all staying the same.
The current Redbank Hub will close from 14 September while we pack up and prepare for the move.
We are looking forward to play and connection from our new home at Bellbird Park State School.

📚What a blast we had at our Book Week Costume parade today!

📕📒📘Thank you to Mrs Hellens and our Student Council leaders for making this such a fun and vibrant celebration of our favourite book characters. Thanks also to our wonderful families for supporting our parade through attendance and costume creation.

📚💙 Book Week is here! 💙📚

What better way to launch and celebrate Book Week than with a whole-school Reading Picnic!

Today, our students came together across the school to find a comfy spot, open a great book and simply enjoy the magic of reading. It was wonderful to see our school community sharing stories and celebrating a love of books together.

A beautiful reminder that reading connects us, inspires us and helps us flourish 💙🩵💚

Today, Bellbird Park proudly wore purple to recognise our Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence 💜

Wearing purple was a simple but powerful way for our students and staff to stand together and show that bullying and violence have no place at Bellbird Park.

This year’s message, Small Acts, Big Impact, reminds us that every kind word, inclusive action and positive choice can make a difference.

Together, we can create a school where everyone feels safe, respected and supported.
