Welcome to Ganer Khata Music School,
I, Sabbir Chowdhury, am a playback singer from Bangladesh and I am specialised in Nazrul-sangeet and have achieved the highly prestigious 1st class 1st position in the Certificate Exam of Nazrul Academy in 1997. I am capable of teaching any type of Bengali, Hindi and Urdu songs, and will provide professional vocal lessons. I have achieved 16 national awards in Nazrul-sangeet, Rabindra-sangeet, vocal classical songs, folk-songs, patriotic songs, Islamic songs and Bengali poetry recitation.
Purpose:
I have opened this music school – Ganer Khata Music School – in hopes to inspire and spread my knowledge to the next generation. I want to embrace Bengali culture and music with the wider community. This is why I would like to share my music diary with you guys. I want to promote unity and diversity across different cultures and languages – Hindi and Urdu. I am welcoming Bangladeshi, Indian, Pakistani and Nepali music lovers to join my classes.
I am holding classes for a group of 6 students at a time - $25 per person at my studio.
Alternatively, I can travel to you (if within 25km radius of Bellbird Park) and in a group of 6 students - $35 per person.
Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings are currently booked. I am taking an expression of interest for any other timings (weeknights except Tuesday, weekends except Saturday morning).
