The UCFIRST 2026 student creative writing anthology is accepting submissions until April 4th!

We invite UC undergraduate and Honours students to submit original, unpublished works. Accepted formats include prose, poetry, scripts, comics, and artwork.

We are also searching for new and creative art - across a variety of mediums - to feature on the cover! If you have something you think would be a good fit for the anthology cover, we encourage you to submit!

Please note your submissions will also be considered for Audio First - the audio companion to UC First where authors voice their stories in a podcast format.

Hungry for some Pizza?

We’re hosting a relaxed pizza lunch to bring our academic staff and students together for some informal conversation and connection. It’s a great chance to strengthen our community, meet students you may not usually cross paths with, and enjoy a slice or two along the way🍕
