Meeting Proceedings on Independence Day Celebrations – Zone Beerwah
A meeting of all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) of Zone Beerwah was convened to review and finalize the arrangements for the celebration of 79th Independence Day. The meeting was chaired by Tehsildar Beerwah, Ms. Aliya Tabassum, and attended by ZEO Beerwah, Ms. Fozia Buch, along with all HOIs of the zone.
The dignitaries emphasized the importance of celebrating Independence Day with patriotism, dignity, and active community participation. All institutions were instructed to ensure that the celebrations are conducted in a disciplined, inclusive, and meaningful manner.
The following activities were discussed and approved:
Tiranga Rally: Schools will organize Tiranga Rallies to promote patriotism and create awareness about the values of unity, peace, and national integration.
Vande Mataram Competition: Institutions will conduct Vande Mataram competitions to encourage students to express their love and respect for the nation through patriotic songs.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony: The National Flag will be hoisted in all institutions with due respect, followed by the National Anthem, patriotic performances, and cultural programmes.
Swachhata Abhiyan: A cleanliness drive will be organized in and around school premises to promote hygiene, environmental awareness, and the spirit of community service.
The Tehsildar and ZEO directed all HOIs to make comprehensive arrangements for the smooth conduct of these programmes, ensure maximum participation of students, staff, and the local community, and strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines for Independence Day celebrations.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective commitment to celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm, discipline, and patriotic fervour.

PRESS NOTE
Under the dynamic leadership and guidance of Fozia Buch, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Beerwah, an inspection visit was conducted to various educational institutions including Middle School Warihama, Middle School DP Warihama, and Middle School Sonpah in connection with the review of ongoing VSK (Vidya Samiksha Kendra) activities.
The visit was carried out by ZEO Beerwah Fozia Buch along with Zonal Nodal Officer (VSK) Arif Mohiuddin Bhat to assess the implementation and progress of various educational initiatives under VSK.
During the visit, on-spot directions were issued to the Heads of Institutions (HOIs) to ensure strict adherence to all prescribed guidelines. Special emphasis was laid on:
Timely and regular marking of Smart Attendance of students
Effective implementation of JK Study Buddy Quiz Program
Proper ex*****on of NMBA activities in all institutions
The officers stressed that all these activities must be followed in letter and spirit to ensure quality monitoring, improved student participation, and enhanced learning outcomes.
The ZEO reiterated the importance of commitment, accountability, and timely compliance from all institutions for the successful implementation of VSK initiatives across the zone.

VSK Orientation Program Held for Teachers of Mazhar-ul-Haq High School Beerwah at GMS Beerwah
An orientation program on various initiatives of VSK (Vidya Samiksha Kendra) was successfully conducted for the teaching staff of Mazhar-ul-Haq High School Beerwah at Government Middle School Beerwah.
The program was organized under the supervision of Zonal Education Officer Beerwah, Mtr. Fozia Buch, and was conducted by Zonal Nodal Officer, Mr. Arif Mohiuddin Bhat.
During the session, Mr. Arif Mohiuddin Bhat provided a detailed presentation on the objectives, vision, and functioning of VSK. He highlighted the importance of digital transformation in education and explained how VSK serves as a powerful platform for monitoring, evaluation, and improving the quality of education through data-driven decision-making.
Special emphasis was laid on various innovative components and digital tools under the VSK initiative, including real-time monitoring systems, academic progress tracking, data analysis, and technology-enabled teaching-learning practices. The participants were also introduced to practical applications of AI tools and digital resources aimed at enhancing classroom effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
The program witnessed active participation from the teachers of Mazhar-ul-Haq High School, who showed great enthusiasm and keen interest in understanding the transformative role of technology in modern education. Interactive discussions and hands-on demonstrations made the session highly engaging and informative.
Speaking on the occasion, Mtr. Fozia Buch appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and emphasized the need for teachers to adopt innovative practices and digital tools to strengthen the education system. She encouraged all participants to effectively implement the learnings from the orientation program in their respective institutions.
