The Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards is proud to announce the winner of the 2021 Service Trades College Fourth Year Apprentice of the Year - William Cross, Slade Brothers Plumbing.

William Cross is a fourth-year apprentice with Slade Brothers Plumbing in Brisbane, having begun his career in the plumbing industry with a desire to follow in his father’s footsteps. Since beginning his plumbing apprenticeship, William has made significant waves in the industry and celebrated immense success by winning several awards including School Based Apprentice of the Year, the ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award, and Second Year Apprentice of the Year. William said he loves absolutely everything about plumbing but in particular, he enjoys the important work on Legionella management and prevention that he does with his employer. William has set himself up to achieve long-term success in the plumbing industry with a goal of one day owning his own business or working alongside his father in hydraulics, specialising in fire. Congratulations William.

PICAC Beenleigh will close Monday 29 March in line with new restrictions announced by the Queensland State Government for the Greater Brisbane area. It will reopen Tuesday 6 April after the Easter long weekend.

Those with training booked during this period will be contacted by phone or email to reschedule.
