After evolution dance comp weekend we handed out some well deserved awards in class.

Slay Dance Top 4 highest scoring soloists:

1st - Aleyah
2nd - Mia
3rd - Alyssandra
4th - Sienna

🌟 Star of Effort - Scarlett - for carrying on dancing even though she lost her partner right before going on stage.

🌟Backstage Buddies - Lucianna - for always supporting other dance schools and representing slay well at comps.

🌟Team Leader - Olivia - leading her team at all 3 comps on stage and being a fierce performer.

🌟Stronger Together - Shelby - stepping in and learning a duet in a few hours as to allow her fellow slayer to still be able to perform at comp!

🌟Consistency Champ - Aleyah - for filling in for Team B at 2 competitions and learning the routine in 1 hour as to not let Team B miss out on having numbers on stage.

How lucky are we to have such amazing kids in our group! Welldone to all, we are extremely proud 👏 🥰

Heart of Carnival Award ❤️

And today slay dance was recognised for an award that actually means so much to us! We were awarded the heart of carnival award for how our dancers and teachers carried themselves backstage and around the competition. This is what Slay Dance is always been about, we may be the smallest dance group there but we support everyone around us even though we may not always be seen. It means so much to us! Thankyou CARNIVAL DANCE CHALLENGE 😢💕

Congratulations to our 3 Slay Teams that went out and danced Evolution Dance Competition today!

The last 2 weeks you have faced uphill challenges with dancers leaving, dancers missing from practise and dancers falling ill etc and these things cant be avoided but each of you handled it extremely well and we are very proud of you all! 👏

The show must go on and thats exactly what we did today! Welldone Slayers 🏆🏆🏆❤️
