Our Toddlers have been developing their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills through a variety of engaging learning experiences, including exploring with torches.
Today, with the gloomy weather outside, the children used the torches to bring the classic story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to life through imaginative role play.
They also enjoyed using their torches while singing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.
What a fun and engaging way to support the development of our little learners’ fine motor and early writing skills! ✨🔦🐻⭐

We recently purchased raincoats for our children to use when the wet weather is upon us.
Our Seedlings 1 children were excited to wear the raincoats and explore and play in the rain.

Kaya ! .We are currently celebrating NAIDOC Week, which marks its 50th anniversary this year. The theme, '50 Years Deadly,' honors the Elders, artists, activists, and communities who have driven the movement, fighting for justice, truth-telling, and cultural recognition.
'Deadly' is a term that holds significant cultural value in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, representing excellence, strength, and pride in identity.
Throughout this week, we have acknowledged and celebrated Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture and heritage through diverse learning experiences.
Our ongoing goal is to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture within our environment each week.

Are you aware that preschool readiness begins in our Babies rooms at Bloom Early Education Beechboro?.
We understand that children need activities encouraging them to reach up, clap, and use their pointer finger to develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor control, and midline development in order to acquire independent skills such as writing, dressing, and using utensils.
This is why bubbles are a beloved activity in our Seeds and Sprouts rooms!

Today we pay tribute to an Australian icon, Vegemite, as today is National Vegemite Day. The children wore Vegemite-inspired clothing and participated in Vegemite-themed activities, including filling the Vegemite jar and creating savory cheesy Vegemite scrolls.
Are you aware that Vegemite was developed in response to a shortage of Marmite in Port Melbourne since 1923? Vegemite is rich in B vitamins, including B1, B2, B3, and folate, and is a vegetarian product with no added sugar, making it a superior spread for toast, crackers, or other chosen foods.

This sparked multiple discussions about the snail's origin, habitat, and potential food sources.
We undertook additional research using various sources to further our understanding of the snail.
We are eager to see what new discoveries the next rainfall may bring.
