Beaufort Community Playgroup is celebrating all the wonderful **dads, stepdads, granddads, foster dads, brothers, uncles and special men** in our little ones’ lives! 🥰

✍️ NEW AT PYRENEES COMMUNITY HOUSE — PYRENEES WRITERS GROUP 📚

We know you’re out there… 👀

The person with half a novel sitting on their laptop.

The one who has been quietly writing their life story and wondering whether anyone would ever want to read it.

The aspiring children’s author with a story that’s been living in their head for years.

The secret poet. The short-story writer. The person who keeps saying “I’m not really a writer…”

YES. YOU. ❤️

PCH is very excited to launch the Pyrenees Writers Group — a welcoming, supportive space for local people who simply love to write.

You do not need to be published.
You do not need qualifications.
And you definitely do not need to have it all figured out.

We’re amateurs too. We’re learning. We’re stumbling our way through manuscripts, characters, chapters and ideas — and we thought it might be much more fun to stumble through it together!

✍️ Share your work if you want to.
📖 Give and receive constructive feedback.
💡 Bounce around ideas.
❤️ Meet other local writers.
🙌 Learn from each other's experiences.

And most importantly…

Throw that imposter syndrome out the window and proudly call yourself a WRITER — published or otherwise.

🍝 CHAT N CHEW IS ON TOMORROW! 🚑❤️

Join us this Thursday for another Chat n Chew Community Lunch!

This month, we’ll be joined by special guests from Ambulance Victoria, who will be chatting with us about stroke — recognising the signs and knowing when to act.

And Lisa is in the kitchen cooking up an Italian feast! 🍝 So come along, enjoy some great food, good company and an important conversation.

♻️ Don’t forget to bring a container! If there are leftovers, we’d love you to take some home and help us make sure nothing goes to waste.

🩹❤️ FIRST AID COURSE ❤️🩹

Would you know what to do in an emergency?

Join us on Thursday 25th June at 10:00am for a practical and engaging First Aid Course right here in Beaufort. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, volunteer, sports coach, community group member, or simply want the confidence to help when it matters most, this course is for you.

✅ Learn life-saving skills
✅ Gain confidence in emergency situations
✅ Understand CPR and basic first aid responses
✅ Suitable for community members of all ages

Knowing first aid can make all the difference while waiting for emergency services to arrive. The skills you learn could one day help save the life of a friend, family member, colleague, or neighbour.
