Today, our students had the fantastic opportunity to visit Highview College Maryborough to watch their production of Matilda the Musical Jr.

What an amazing show! The singing, acting, dancing, costumes and energy on stage were absolutely brilliant. Our students loved every minute of it and were very impressed by the talented Highview College students.

A huge thank you to Highview College for inviting us along and putting on such a wonderful performance.

Happy Principal Appreciation Day!

Today we take a moment to recognise and thank our principal for everything she does for Bealiba Primary School.

From supporting students and staff, to keeping our little school moving forward, her care, dedication and commitment to our school community is greatly appreciated.

Today we celebrated being 100 days at school.

Students came dressed as 100-year-olds, complete with grey hair, walking sticks, suspenders. Throughout the day, we enjoyed special 100-themed activities, made colourful 100 glasses and some delicious fairy bread.

What a fantastic Pyjama Day!

Students came dressed in their favourite pyjamas and enjoyed getting creative by making their own colourful dreamcatchers. We also took part in our very first karate lesson, where students learnt some new skills.

Welcome back to Term 3!

We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable break. We’re excited to welcome our students and families back for a busy and exciting term ahead.

There is so much to look forward to, and we can’t wait to begin the term together.

Today we had Anything But a Backpack Day and Pizza Day.

Students got creative with what they used to carry their things. For lunch everyone had a turn making their own pizzas, choosing toppings and enjoying together.

Today we celebrated Education Support Day and say a very special thank you to our staff.

At Bealiba Primary School, our Education Support staff go above and beyond. They help keep our school running, supports students and staff, and brings care, patience and commitment to our school community everyday.

This term in art, we are looking at famous artists from around the world. We began by studying the work of Keith Haring. His use of basic shapes, bold colours and movement to create emotion and narrative. Students used line, colour, action lines and their own body movement to create self-inspired pieces in the style of Haring. We even got outside and used chalk on the concrete for large scale body outlines inspired by Haring.
