Our VIP lanyards are more than just a pass. They help us identify residents and make sure those who live on the street have the heads-up, access and support they need during a complete street shutdown.

🚧🌙 NIGHT-TIME ROADWORKS NEED EXTRA CARE 🌙🚧

Night-time roadworks can be a dangerous place for everyone — especially the workers who are out there while the rest of us are heading home. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Reduced visibility 🌑, changing traffic conditions 🚗, lane closures 🚧, flashing lights 🚨 and tired drivers 😴 all add to the risk. For road workers, there is very little protection between them and passing traffic.

When approaching roadworks at night:
🐢 Slow down
👀 Stay alert
🚦 Follow signs and traffic controllers
↔️ Keep your distance
📵 Never drive distracted

Every cone, sign and reduced speed limit is there for a reason. ⚠️ Taking a few extra minutes could make the difference between someone getting home safely and not getting home at all.

💛 Please take extra care around night-time roadworks. Let’s make sure everyone — drivers, passengers and road workers — gets home safely. 🏠👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
