Chisholm Catholic College Alumni

Chisholm Catholic College Alumni Chisholm Catholic College was formed in 1989 as a result of the amalgamation of St Mark's College, Bedford and St Thomas Aquinas College, Inglewood.

The Chisholm Catholic College Alumni brings together ex-students and staff of Chisholm Catholic College, St Thomas Aquinas College and St Mark's College, reconnecting them with the College, its history and people who share in the history of the school. The Chisholm Catholic College Alumni has been formed to foster amongst past students and staff the ideas of philanthropy, community and networking

whilst supporting the educational aims of Chisholm Catholic College. The College was named after Caroline Chisholm, a Catholic social reformer and social justice advocate in colonial New South Wales. Caroline was significant in providing improved living and employment conditions and educational opportunities for migrant families. Chisholm Catholic College opened with the motto "Grow in Christ", and commenced with over 1, 200 secondary students. During the years that have past, the College facilities have been continually upgraded, extended and expanded. The College now provides quality education for students in Year 7 - Year 12, located on the Beaufort Street site.

It is with great sadness that we have learned Rebecca passed away peacefully on 20 June 2023. She was from the graduating class of 2000 and also taught at our College. We send our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends at this time.

For those who remember Mr Phil May, Head of Math at the Wood Street campus, sadly he passed away recently. His family has asked us to share the details of his funeral with past students and staff who wish to attend.

The funeral is to be held at Purslowe and Chipper Funeral Chapel, 33 Townshend Road, Subiaco at 2pm on Tuesday 28 June 2022. This will be followed by light refreshments.
