A wonderful celebration of 90 years of St Columba's School, Bayswater. 🎉
It was great to catch up with Principal Gina Burns and former Principals Greg Martin and Art Lombardi as the school marked this significant milestone.
Congratulations to the students, staff, families and alumni who have helped make St Cols such an important part of our community over the past 90 years.

On Wednesday our student leaders, along with Mrs Burns and Mrs McLeod, joined other schools for the Archbishop's 2026 LifeLink Day launch for Primary Schools.
Through our support of LifeLink, we are reaching out with love and compassion to help our brothers and sisters in need, and in doing so, walking in the footsteps of the Good Shepherd.

Our 90th Birthday celebrations continued yesterday.
Students came to school dressed in fashions from decades gone by.
The Vintage glamour of the 1950's, the Boho style of the 1960's, the disco glamour of the 1970's (I even saw Agnetha from Abba) and of course the pop style of the 1980's (Even Kylie Minogue's song 'Locomotion' was played as the students entered the classroom in the morning).
Students enjoyed a cup cake at recess and a bit of dancing the YMCA could be seen after lunch.

Yesterday saw the commencement of our 90th Birthday celebration week.
We started the week with a beautiful mass celebrated by Fr Mark.
Our special guests included Executive Director of Catholic Education, Annette Morey, Ex-Principals and staff; Dan Bull MLA; Sisters of Mercy who have worked here over the years; Parents; friends and of course our staff and students in Years 3-6.
All students at St Columba's received a commemorative lapel pin that were blessed by Fr at mass.
A lovely morning tea was enjoyed by staff and guests after mass and the students had an extended recess break. Winners all round.
