🏏 Junior Cricket is back! 💙💚

Looking for a fun, friendly and welcoming cricket club for your junior cricketer? Morley Bayswater Junior Cricket Club is gearing up for another awesome season! 🙌

Whether they’re picking up a bat for the first time or already love the game, we have options for juniors from ages 5–11 and up to Year 11.

IT'S HERE !!! The Hillcrest Colour Fun Run 2026 is ON! 🎉

This is our BIGGEST and most exciting school event of the year, a day full of colour, fun and celebration for the whole Hillcrest community! 🌈

This year we're fundraising online through Go Raise It — no door knocking, no handling cash, and your kids can collect sponsorship from family and friends anywhere in the world! 🙌

What are we raising funds for?
🏗️ New undercover courts
🌿 Native gardens and sustainability projects
💛 Student wellbeing initiatives

🎟️ Father’s Day Raffle – tickets just $2!

Our Father’s Day Raffle is here, with 3 amazing hampers up for grabs, each valued at over $450!

Tickets are just $2 each and on sale until 5pm Thursday 3rd September. The raffle will be drawn at our Father’s Day Breakfast on Friday 4th September, with winners announced on the day and also notified by phone.

🙋 Volunteers needed – Father’s Day Breakfast, this Friday morning!

We’re still on the hunt for 5–6 more helping hands to make Friday’s Father’s Day Breakfast run smoothly! We need help with:

🔧 Set up
🍳 BBQ cooking
🍽️ Serving food
📦 Restocking
🧹 Clean up

Sustainable Fridays tomorrow!

Don't forget to grab your donations on the way out the door in the morning!

Here's what to bring:

♻️ Containers for Change — eligible 10¢ cans and bottles
👕 Outgrown uniforms — for resale in our second-hand uniform shop
☕ Coffee capsules — L'OR, Moccona and Compos aluminium capsules (these earn TerraCycle points that convert into direct cash donations for our school!)

📍 Drop-off bins are located at:

Top of the Drake Street ramp

Big thanks to everyone who brings containers to school, donates to us via a refund point or has collected from local venues.

Save the date, dads! 🧡

Our Father's Day Breakfast is coming up on Friday 4 September, 7:00–8:30am in the School Canteen.

Bring the family down for a hot coffee, bacon & egg roll, and some quality time before the school day starts — just $12 per adult, and kids eat free (juice, a sandwich-making station and fun activities included)!

☕ Don't forget your keep cup!

🎟️ Raffle tickets for some great prizes will be available soon — keep an eye on Compass for details closer to the day.

We can't wait to celebrate all the amazing dads, grandads, uncles and special people in our kids' lives!
