Today, our babies enjoyed a delicious and nutritious morning tea experience with yogurt. As the children explored their food, they engaged their senses by feeling the texture, tasting new flavours, and developing their independence as they practised using their hands and spoons to enjoy their meal.

Mealtimes provide valuable opportunities for babies to build confidence, develop fine motor skills, and strengthen social connections as they share this experience alongside their friends and educators. Our educators supported the children by encouraging curiosity, self-feeding, and positive relationships with food.

Through these everyday moments, our babies continue to learn, grow, and develop important skills in a nurturing and supportive environment. 💛

🐎 Lunar New Year 🧧

Here at Bayswater Childcare and Kinder we have been celebrating the Lunar New Year with all our children, families and staff. We have a number of dumpling experts who helped create some delicious traditional Chinese dumplings for all the children to enjoy 🥟

Out the front of the kinder room we created a wishing tree for our families and staff to contribute to - making best wishes for the year to come.

Our beautiful red lanterns were a fine motor challenge for our kindergarten cohort to create. The kinders were excited to show of their creations🏮

✨ Disney Dress-Up Week at Bayswater Childcare and Kindergarten ✨

What a magical week it has been! 🏰✨ Our toddlers and kinders had so much fun dressing up as their favourite Disney characters and bringing a little extra sparkle into our days. From princesses and superheroes to beloved Disney friends, the centre was filled with smiles, laughter, and imagination.

The children proudly shared their costumes, enjoyed creative play, dancing, and storytelling inspired by Disney magic. It was beautiful to see their confidence, joy, and sense of belonging shine throughout the week. 💫
