From the bustling streets of Seoul to Melbourne Central, the new Sulbing Café boasts a soft, bright glow to the busy Swanston Street and La Trobe Street junction. Sulbing's infamous Korean shaved ice dessert informed the shopfront design, reminiscent of frosty ice cubes.

LumiSheet™ SCW was manufactured with some panels being thermo-formed (curved) to create a seamless backlighting feature within a very small cavity of only 12mm.
Whilst this design was always based on the slimline capability of the LumiSheet™ panel >
Even when you forget about backlighting, LumiSheet™ is so slim and powerful it can save the day!

LumiSheet™TW was specified at Melbourne Place Hotel by Kennedy Nolan Architects for its quality, longevity, customisation and fit for purpose.
It is used above each lift entry door as an indicator for when the lift car arrives.
Changing from cool white to warm white when the car approaches.
Integrated into the buildings DALI smart control system.

The Light Wall

This project was designed, manufactured, and installed end-to-end by LIGHTRIC.
It spans a 27-metre north wall and a 12-metre west wall, featuring 45 individual LED panels stacked three high across 15 custom steel doors. Each door sits on precision pivot hinges, weighing over 450 kg, yet opening smoothly and seamlessly within just 10 mm of tolerance, creating perfectly straight, even, and flowing lines from top to bottom.

The lighting complements the brutalist concrete architecture, transforming the garage into a space that’s as functional as it is visually striking.
A design any car enthusiast or architecture lover would envy.
