Pequea Valley has partnered with Right at School to offer a Before & After School Program that will begin this Fall in our elementary buildings! Children need to be enrolled in Paradise or Salisbury Elementary Schools to participate. We are excited to offer this opportunity to our families.

Paradise Elementary learners, Eden (left) and Yaretzi (right), received the Good Citizenship Award from Senator Scott Martin. Thank you to PV grad and District Director for Senator Martin, Angie Eichelberger, for presenting our awards. Both learners are positive leaders in our classrooms and community. We are Paradise Proud of you!

Paradise 2nd grade participated in their Super Outdoor Science Day at Paradise Park. Learners held bugs, played cooperative games, and did some bird watching.
Pictured are learners holding live bugs with the help of the Bug Man! Our brave learners discussed that not all bugs with pinchers want to hurt you. 🕷🦂🐦🌿

For the first time ever, Horace Mann Insurance is holding a calendar cover design contest for students across the country. One of our very own Pequea Valley learners is one of only 4 National Finalists in grades 5-8 – she is already a 1st place Regional Winner!!! Congratulations to Mia Emaikwu (6th Grade) on this accomplishment!

Now we need your help- Mia has been entered in the national finalist contest. If she wins, her design will be featured on this year’s calendar cover, and our school will receive $5,000 in DonorsChoose funding!

The contest will be decided by voting via Facebook and Instagram. Voting Opens Saturday, 1/6/2024, and continues to Wednesday, 1/10/2024, at midnight. Please help make Mia the National Grade 5-8 Winner by following the link below!!

Congratulations to Mrs. Bushnell! Our team has selected her to represent Paradise Elementary as our Keystone Tech Integrator of the Year!

To honor the bravery of a PV staff member, who is battling lung cancer, Paradise Elementary staff wore blue and white in support of her and her journey. In our family, no one fights alone! Thank you to everyone for wearing blue and white shirts to support this staff member! 💙🤍

Yesterday was America Recycles Day and the official kickoff of the Green Team and paper recycling at Paradise! We have set our first schoolwide goal to 50 pounds of paper!

Looking for something fun to do this coming weekend for the family? How about Mini Golf!? This year, there are two different days to drop in and play. Make sure you stop by the PTO table. The grade with the most participation wins a prize!
