Such an awesome first day in Coral Bay. We organised our tents, wandered down to the beach for a play, then headed back to camp for showers and tasty hamburgers. Once everything was cleaned up, we finished the night with a fun game of fox holes. Nearly time for bed, and we’re all set for another action packed day tomorrow.

What a day. Some might say that it was blue skies all day, all the way to a faction carnival win! But there were winners everywhere! Do we mention the student, parent, teacher race? One thing is true, there were no losers. Spinifex and Sun tied for third, Sturt came second meaning that Sky was in the winning spot. Congratulations to everyone. We are so proud of all of you. C28 has been exploring the power of figurative language in our writing. 🌱We have been using metaphors, similes and other forms of figurative language to creatively describe the journey of a seed as it grows into a plant. We have used native Pilbara plants as our inspiration, helping students connect their writing to the unique environment around us.
