This afternoon, students in Years 3–6 have been enjoying a Rugby Union Clinic, made possible through funding from the Sporting Schools Grant.

The clinic, run by a coach from Rugby Union NSW, has provided students with a fantastic opportunity to develop their rugby skills, build confidence, work as a team and stay active while having plenty of fun along the way!

Miss Fallon's K/1/2 students looked amazing for our Book Week parade. It was great to see the students looking so happy and excited to be part of our whole school parade.

Batlow Central School values and appreciates all the effort that is put into the outfits and the importance of having a love of reading. A fantastic effort for Book Week 2026. 🩵

🎙 Ryan and Mia did a fantastic job presenting the radio news this morning, keeping our community informed about what is happening at our school! They spoke confidently and clearly, representing our school wonderfully. Well done, Ryan and Mia — you should be very proud of your efforts! 🎙

What a spectacular Book Parade we had today! Our students looked absolutely fantastic in their creative and colourful costumes, and it was wonderful to see so much excitement and enthusiasm.

A big thank you to all the families who came along to watch and support our students, and to our staff for the time, effort and enthusiasm they put into making the parade such a special event.

📚 Book Fair is Ready to Go! 📚

Our Book Fair is all set up in the school library, with a fantastic range of books ready for students to explore!

Students will be visiting the Book Fair today to create their wish lists and discover some new favourites.

Book Fair purchases can be made today until 3.30pm and again tomorrow. On Wednesday, the library will remain open until 5.00pm, giving families extra time to come in, browse and purchase books.

We look forward to seeing our students and families enjoying the Book Fair and celebrating a love of reading! 📖✨
