There are so many interesting experiences when you live life on a farm. I've experienced a few wild storms here in Batlow. Actually seeing the red flash of lightening and hearing a tree crash down is a sound you won't forget. Last night our beloved cypress was felled, vertically. We spent the previous afternoon cutting blackberries around it, pausing to appreciate its magnitude. I'm so glad I have those memories. I love trees.
