You’ve got a friend in me!

After what was a big Term 3 of learning and sport we finished the term celebrating with Bubbles and Butterflies day. Students wore bright colours, enjoyed each other’s company in the sunshine of our memorial garden and welcomed our new school support dog - Merri.

Merri is a beautiful golden Labrador who will be lucky enough to be surrounded by love, learning and plenty of attention within our school and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the students while playing with bubbles and getting their faces painted.

We look forward to hearing all about students holiday adventures when they return on Tuesday 13th October 2026.

Western Region Athletics

A huge congratulations to Amelia, Braxton, Oscar and Theodore who represented Carenne School at Western Region Athletics today.
They all tried their hardest and came home with many personal bests.

Attendance matters!

We are so proud of William who has improved his attendance over the term. His reward of choice was to cook spaghetti bolognese with Mrs Dwyer! It was delicious!! Well done William.

Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to not only all the special dads but to everyone that plays a significant and special role in our students lives.

We hope you got a sleep in, followed by a hot chocolate with 10 marshmallows just like our students in class 1.

Eisteddfod 2026

Congratulations to all the fabulous students who participated in the Eisteddfod on Tuesday 25th.

Carenne presented 3 show stopping performances. An Auslan signing piece lighting up the stage, senior drama groups very own murder mystery and showcasing our dazzling dancers.

The students put on a wonderful performance and the Eisteddfod Adjudicator was highly complimentary of the skills, attitude, musicality and storytelling abilities of all involved. They represented Carenne school in a very positive way and staff were very proud of them on the day, and also for all the hard work they put into preparing their performances.

Thank you to all students, staff and parents involved. Give yourselves a standing ovation - hip hip hooray 🙌 🥳

Book Week!

Students and staff embraced Book Week today at Carenne. There were plenty of creative costumes, fantastic dancing and big smiles as students participated in the annual book week parade.

Primary Principals Day.

In preparation for celebrating Primary Principals Day today, we asked the students some questions about Crosland and learnt some interesting things. 🏃‍♀️🧦✈️😊💃

She always wears cool socks, is the best because she gives school holidays, she’s great at paperwork, has very good dance moves and helps Carenne to be a calm, safe school and happy place to be.
