Tooot tooot!!!

Today, the school set off on an excursion to ride the steam train that’s in Bathurst for the long weekend. Locomotive 3526 took us from Bathurst station to Wimbledon and return. Thank you Transport Heritage NSW for providing all 130 of our passengers with a fantastic experience.

Small Group Tuition

At Carenne, our Small Group Tuition this term is focusing on phonemic awareness and writing. It’s inspiring to see students engaged and committed to their learning in these supportive groups. We look forward to helping each student continue to grow and achieve their best.

Boccia Competition

We are very proud of students who represented Carenne School at the Boccia Competition in Bathurst last week. Our students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day and were fantastic representatives of our school. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, trying their best and showing respect to all competitors.
Congratulations to our High School team who placed 3rd overall and our Primary School team who placed 8th overall against strong competition from across the region.
Thank you to the NSW School Sport Unit for organising such a positive and inclusive event.

Anzac Day Assembly.

Tomorrow, we will hold our Anzac Day service at 10:15am at Carenne School to honor the courage, mateship, and endurance of Australians who served their country. All welcome.

A reminder, Monday 27.4.26 is a public holiday and Carenne School will be closed as a national day of remembrance.

Every Day Matters at Carenne!

We are proud to celebrate the fantastic effort our students have shown in attending school throughout Term 1. Every day at school is an opportunity to connect, learn, build confidence, and be part of our supportive community. Our students have truly embraced this!

We would also like to thank our families for their ongoing support in helping students get to school each day. We look forward to continuing to build strong attendance habits together in Term 2 - because every day at Carenne counts.
