ππ Monty on Tour | Day 4 β Ipswich, QLD
Today's adventure took me to Ipswich!
Miss Taylor from Springfield offered to show me around, and of course I couldn't say no. On the way, she told me all about the beautiful sunsets they see while classes are running.
I thought she might have been exaggerating...
She wasn't.
WOW! π
π
The first thing I noticed was just how big this centre is! But even more impressive than the size is the amazing team who bring it to life every day.
I met Moira, Taneth and Mr Drew. Let me tell you... Mr Drew is quite the character! π It didn't take me long to work out why the students think he's so much fun.
I also made a brand-new friend today. He's learning to read with the help of Kip's Early Reading program, and I was lucky enough to watch part of his lesson.
I have to admit... it looked like so much fun! There were games, lots of encouragement and plenty of smiles. Learning to read is a pretty exciting adventure, and I think my new friend is going to do brilliantly. πβ¨
Every centre I visit has something different to offer, and I'm loving discovering what makes each one so special.
See you at my next stop!

ππ Monty on Tour | Day 3 β Springfield, QLD
Today I visited Springfield, and... wow! What a lovely centre this is.
The moment I walked through the door, it just felt nice. π
One of the first things I spotted was a wall filled with photos of all the tutors. There are so many smiling faces that I could already tell this place must be busy helping lots of students every week!
I also met Miss Taylor, the Centre Manager. She told me something that made my little mouse heart happy...
She's worked at Springfield since her very first day at Kip! π₯Ή
I think that says a lot about how special this centre is.
Before long, the students started arriving, and I quickly realised they love it here just as much as the tutors do. Some of them were so excited they literally ran through the door to see their tutor! πββοΈπ
I even joined in on a maths lesson today and learnt all about division.
Very useful, if you ask me... it'll definitely help when I need to ration my cheese. π§βπ
I'm off to my next adventure tomorrow. I wonder what I'll discover next!

π§π Monty on Tour | Day 2 β Coorparoo, QLD
Day two of my adventure brought me to Coorparoo, and I quickly discovered this centre has been changing lives for a very long time! π
I even heard some wonderful stories about John, who taught maths students here many years ago. It's amazing to think about how many students have walked through these doors over the years, building confidence and reaching their goals. Today, that legacy continues with a fantastic team of tutors who are just as passionate about helping students succeed.
I also met Johanna, the Centre Manager. She told me something that made my little mouse ears perk up...
"Before every class, our studentsβand sometimes even their parentsβlove to work on a puzzle together."
I wasn't sure if she was serious... but she absolutely was! π§©
Of course, I had to join in.
And... I don't mean to brag... but I found all the corner pieces. ππ
I think that's a pretty good start, don't you?
I'm already discovering that every Kip centre has its own special traditions, and I can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store.
Until next time,

π§π Monty on Tour | Day 1 β Regents Park, QLD
Well... I couldn't sleep last night. π
I was just too excited for my very first stop on the Monty on Tour adventure, so I arrived at Regents Park nice and early. I think they call it first day jitters! π§³π
The first thing that caught my eye was their incredible Wall of Fame. π€© Wow... look at all those smiling faces! I couldn't believe how many students have been part of the Regents Park family over the years. Then they told me something that really blew my tiny mouse mind...
π This centre teaches nearly 100 students every single week!
That's a whole lot of learning, confidence building and potential being unlocked. π
Today I'm looking forward to meeting Emma-Jean, Cindy and Toni. I've heard some wonderful things about this team... including that they've all been part of Kip for years! I think that says something pretty special about the people here and the culture they've built together.
If this is only Stop #1, I have a feeling I'm in for an incredible month. I can't wait to discover more amazing centres, meet more passionate people and see how Kip is changing lives across Australia and New Zealand.
See you at my next stop! π§π
