Today, the children in each of our rooms had a wonderful time helping to bake delicious treats for our Australia's Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser, which will be held tomorrow! 🧁🍪☕

Not only did they enjoy getting involved in the baking process, but they were also learning about helping others and supporting a great cause within our community.

These sweet treats will be available from our Front Office from 8:00am tomorrow in exchange for a cash donation to our fundraising box (located in the foyer) or by donating online via the link below:

Every donation, big or small, helps support Australians affected by cancer. Thank you for your generosity and support—we look forward to seeing you tomorrow! 💛

Yesterday, we proudly participated in the 2027 National Simultaneous Storytime! 📚✨

Our children enjoyed sharing in this special event together, celebrating the joy of reading and storytelling.

A big thank you to Michelle from TAFE NSW for visiting us and reading the story to the children. We truly appreciate the time and enthusiasm you shared with our little learners! 💛

This week, our children have been busy exploring, discovering, and creating through a range of sensory play experiences 🌈✨

From messy play and water exploration to textured materials, nature-based activities, and creative sensory stations, the children have been engaging all their senses while building important skills in communication, fine motor development, problem-solving, and social interaction.

Sensory play encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence — and most importantly, lots of smiles and laughter! 💛

We love watching our little learners explore the world around them through hands-on experiences every day.

Last month we loved welcoming Reptiles on the Go and having Ben and Madi share their knowledge about reptiles with our children. The children enjoyed seeing the reptiles up close, learning about reptile safety and handling, and asking lots of curious questions!

We were also lucky enough to receive a tooth from a teething saltwater crocodile, which our Bluegums children explored further during group time by holding it and examining it up close. 🐊

To extend the children’s growing interest in reptiles, we also enjoyed a range of reptile-inspired table activities including colouring and collage creations. What a fantastic hands-on learning experience for everyone! ✨
