The objects and functions of this association shall be those set out in Section 116 of the Education Act 1990, which include:

(i) The objects:
(a) to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation; and
(b) to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.

Tonight's meeting will be via Google Meet again!
We wanted to work on making the P&C more accessible for parents because we understand how busy lives can be!

We've made a centralised link for the P&C at linktr.ee/bwps.pc

It will have the next meeting's calendar invite as well as a membership form for new members to provide their details and instructions on paying the membership fee. (I know that sounds scary but it's actually only $1 each year to be a full member of the P&C! - we'd love for you to join us without being a member to get a feel for the P&C as well)

The link also has buttons to join our WhatsApp community and a link to our page as well.

June Meeting Wrap Up!~

We had a new member join us which is always exciting! New members mean new ideas and stronger opportunity to grow and support our community!

We also discussed the possibility of throwing a kid friendly parent mixer in the next few months. Parenting can be lonely if you haven't found your people and it's always great to meet with other parents that are going through what you're going through. We'll be down at the RSL Club this arvo for our June general meeting, in the back near the play room. New members are welcome and kids are welcome too!

We would love to see some new faces as membership is out biggest priority this year. It's only $1 annually to become a member ❤️

We would love for you to join us at a meeting this year! They're held on the 4th Wednesday of each month during school terms at Bathurst RSL Club. Kids are welcome too!

Our biggest priority this year is making sure we will have enough members to continue.

To become a financial member is only $1 per year and is open to BWPS parents and citizens living within the BWPS zone.
