On Tuesday our Year 5 and 6 students took to the stage for their dance concert and what a wonderful afternoon it was!

We are so proud of the enthusiasm and teamwork our students showed in every performance. Performing arts plays such an important role in helping children express themselves creatively, build confidence and connect with others.

A huge thank you to Mrs Brown for the time, care and energy she puts into guiding our students and bringing these performances to life. We are so grateful for all you do.

We have arrived safely at Lake Burrendong and enjoyed our first couple of activities! A night of games and now watching the State of Origin. The Queensland supporters are outside in the cold where they belong! 😆 Go the Blues! 💙

Athletics Carnival 2026

What a fantastic Athletics Carnival we had on Thursday! Congratulations to our age champions. Well done Clancy (Red) on their win and to English (Green) for taking out the Spirit Cup. Our athletes showed terrific sportsmanship and effort throughout the day, while our Infants students enjoyed fun tabloid activities. Thank you to our staff and families for their support and to MacKillop College for hosting us. We look forward to cheering on our students at the next level of competition.

🌻🌺 Mother’s Day Celebration 🌹🌷

What a beautiful morning celebrating Mother’s Day with our school community at today’s breakfast and liturgy. We were so happy to see so many families join us to acknowledge the wonderful mums, grandmothers and special motherly figures in our lives. A special thank you to Year 1 who beautifully organised and led the liturgy. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the morning so special 💐

Coolah Cross Country

The Diocesan Cross Country Carnival was held yesterday at Coolah. Thank you to Mrs Muller who attended and helped organise our students and our parents who transported and supported their children. The Assumption School was represented by 26 runners. Congratulations to Myles (1st), Seb (6th), Ella C (8th) and Ella M (7th) who ran in the top eight runners of their age group. They will now compete in the NSWCPS Cross Country on June 24th. What a wonderful achievement!

PSSA swimming

Congratulations to Quinn, Lexie, Isla, Blair and Evelyn, who represented the Assumption School and Polding at the PSSA Swimming Championships at Homebush yesterday. Their dedication and effort throughout the competition has been commendable and we are so proud of their accomplishments. The Junior Girls Relay team achieved a new personal best time and Quinn secured 7th place in a field of 40 competitors in the 8yrs 50 metre freestyle.

🎖️ANZAC DAY 2026 🇦🇺

Our school community came together alongside other Bathurst schools for today’s ANZAC Day march, with over 60 students proudly showing their respect. Our School Captains also represented us at a special wreath laying ceremony on Friday as part of the commemorations. Thank you to all staff, families and students who joined us and congratulations to our former student Eloise for her powerful keynote address.
