Sometimes the biggest barrier isn't ability. It's believing you can do it. π
Andy had always wanted to earn his forklift licence, but he never thought he'd be able to pass the theory.
With the support of VERTO's Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program and a training provider that believed in his potential, Andy achieved a goal he once thought was out of reach.
Now, with his licence in hand and growing confidence, he's looking forward to the next chapter of his employment journey.

Success is even sweeter when it's shared. π
The 2026 MidCoast Business Awards are shaping up to be a special night for our Self-Employment Assistance community.
VERTO is honoured to be a finalist in three categories: Best Education and Training Business, Outstanding Community Organisation, and Business Recognition Award.
Adding to the excitement, we're also incredibly proud to see four businesses supported through our Self-Employment Assistance program named as finalists across a range of award categories. Watching local entrepreneurs grow, succeed and be recognised by their community is exactly what this program is all about.
Best of luck to all the finalists ahead of the awards ceremony this Saturday, 1 August. No matter the outcome, being named a finalist is a fantastic achievement, and we're proud to have been part of your journey.

π€ Great partnerships create great opportunities.
Thanks to our continued partnership with Wils Training RTO 41518, seven young people supported by VERTO's Transition to Work program in Muswellbrook recently completed a Traffic Control Combo course close to home.
By removing barriers to participation and combining classroom learning with practical, hands-on training, the course helped participants gain valuable qualifications and build confidence as they prepare for careers in labouring, civil construction and traffic control roles that are in strong demand locally.
Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic result.
