ENACTUS is best described as university students coming together to think of ideas to make the community a better place. This is also a part of a university competition held in July 2013 which most universities across Australia participate. Result of deteriorating working conditions.
Has being a teacher in Australia become so hard that no one wants to do it? An education wellbeing expert says the workload for teachers and the stress they face is so extreme that the longevity of the profession is at risk.
Thanks Carissa Perkins for talking at the Finding Money at Uni info session on Wednesday night. A couple of things that we got from this was:
1. You can apply for as many scholarships and receive as many scholarships as possible (i.e. there is no maximum)
2. Equity grants and scholarships do not affect your centrelink payments
3. Scholarships generally open between October and November

- FIT will be running again at Kelso high - dates are to come.
- Participating in UTS ENACTUS Benefit concert for ThankYou Water. - Will need at least two permanent members here, who will go to monthly meetings via Skype or Phone.
