Last week Spencer represented Stannies as part of the NSW CIS U19s that took out the Tri Series against NSW CCC & NSW CHS in Newcastle. CIS v CCC in the opening game and came out winners 6-0 with Spencer scoring two goals. In the final against CHS, the CIS boys ran out winners 2-1 in a fantastic game of hockey. Spencer again found the back of the net with a great goal. It's the first time in many years that CIS 19s Boys have won the trophy. Congratulations Spencer, on being part of this significant victory.

The P&F Trivia Night is shaping up to be a great night of laughs, trivia, and friendly competition. Get your team together and see if you've got what it takes to claim the title of Tradie Trivia Champions!

Congratulations to Tom, Nate and Zach on their acceptance into the prestigious CMAA Academy of Country Music Junior program. Overall, 28 young performers across NSW, Qld, Vic and Tas have earned the incredible opportunity to further develop their skills and passion for country music, heading to Tamworth in July.
All three students are members of the Bathurst Academy of Music (BAM), highlighting their dedication to their craft.

Our Year 11 Biology students recently visited Taronga Zoo as part of their Stage 6 Biology Depth Study. The students explored biodiversity, adaptations and conservation through valuable first-hand learning experiences, collecting data and observations for their scientific reports and conservation posters. It was a fantastic day of learning beyond the classroom.

This week, nine members of the Stannies Savants made their way across to Orange to compete in the CWA Public Speaking competition. Discussing topics ranging from "The impact of music" to "What jobs will exist in 10 years?", these young men spoke with poise, enthusiasm and, in most cases, a humorous tone. The students were outstanding amongst competitors from over 10 schools, and we were lucky enough to walk away with a second place and two third places. Congratulations to all involved!

An evening of culture, connection and community // Our Parent Yarn Up and Student Cultural Dance Workshop brought students, families and staff together for a meaningful evening of storytelling, dance and shared experiences. With Dirraybang Footprint connecting the students to culture through movement, the families gathered to yarn, share their voices and strengthen connections within our College community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special.
