📚✨ Books To Life Performance – Being Indy ✨📚
Cathedral School students were captivated by an entertaining and engaging performance inspired by the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) 2026 Notable Book, Being Indy by Zoe Gaetjens.
Performer Tony from Books To Life brought the story to life with music, dance and plenty of energy, with some special help from our enthusiastic Cathedral students! It was a wonderful interactive experience that celebrated the joy of reading, storytelling and imagination.
A big thank you to Tony and Books To Life for an unforgettable performance that had everyone smiling! 🎭📖

Renewed in Faith - Sent in Hope
Our staff were blessed with special time together on retreat at Shalom House of Prayer in Carcoar.
On this Feast of St Thomas, Fr Nam reflected that it was in the wounds of the Risen Christ that Thomas encountered both faith and hope. Those same wounds continue to teach us how to walk gently with one another through every season of life until, like Thomas, we too can proclaim with confidence, “My Lord and my God!”
Can we sing the anthem too?!

💙 Faith in Action 💙
A huge thank you to our Cathedral community for the generous donations to our Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal.
Our dedicated Mini Vinnies members spent many of their break times carefully creating care packages for those in need.
Today we were delighted to welcome Marina, Lauren and Keith from Vinnies, who joyfully collected the donations and shared with our students how these items will make a real difference in the lives of others. The children were incredibly proud to load the care packages into the Vinnies van and to learn about how it is used to support people experiencing hardship in our community.
Moments like these remind us that faith is more than words, it is lived through acts of love, compassion and service. Our Mini Vinnies students have truly demonstrated what it means to put faith into action, following Jesus’ example of caring for those most in need.
