🌸🌿 Spring Sensory Exploration 🌿🌸

Our little learners in Nursery 2 embraced the start of Spring through a beautiful sensory experience, exploring ice, lavender, cherry blossoms and natural materials. Through scooping, pouring and transferring, children strengthened their fine motor skills, coordination and problem-solving while using their senses to investigate and discover. 💜

A lovely hands-on experience supporting curiosity, exploration and learning through play! ✨

☁️🔬 Science Week fun! 🌧️

Our Toddler 1 children were fascinated by our shaving cream rain cloud experiment! They used droppers to add coloured “rain” and watched as it travelled through the shaving cream before falling into the water.

This hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, observation and early scientific thinking, while also supporting fine motor skills as the children squeezed and controlled the droppers. 💧🌈✨

Our Kindergarten children became little engineers as they explored the watermill and created a network of trenches through the sandpit. 🌊💧

Working together, they experimented with water flow, problem-solving and teamwork, using natural materials to strengthen their waterways. The learning then extended into the garden, where children replanted and watered plants, building their understanding of caring for the environment. 🌱

Hands-on learning, creativity and discovery at its best!

Our Senior Preschool children have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly 🦋

They explored and extended on this learning through a “Butterfly Rescue” sensory tray using oats, coloured rice, and pasta—turning bowties into butterflies and spirals into caterpillars.

A fun, hands-on way to explore, create, and learn 💛

✨ Celebrating 10 Years with Affinity – Miss Jenny! ✨

We are so proud to celebrate Miss Jenny’s 10 years of dedicated service with Affinity Education.

Beginning her journey in Sydney before relocating to Bathurst, Miss Jenny has shared her experience across Milestones and now Papilio Early Learning.

No matter the role, one thing has always remained the same — the children are at the heart of everything she does. The genuine relationships she builds with children and families, and her unwavering commitment to their wellbeing and growth, make her such a valued part of our community.
Thank you, Miss Jenny, for 10 wonderful years of care, dedication and heart. 💛

Please join us in congratulating her on this incredible milestone!
