All In For Reconciliation

With colour, creativity and open hearts, our students and staff celebrated Reconciliation Week. Through Wiradyuri, all students in K-6 have the opportunity to learn the lessons of walking together into the future.

A Winky-Wonky Infants Assembly

What a fantastic Infants Assembly we had yesterday! Banksia 3 had us all laughing with their entertaining performance of ‘The Wonky Donkey’ and their very own “Winky-Wonky” twist. A huge congratulations to all of our students who received Academic, Citizenship and Effort Awards, as well as our lucky Gotcha Tub winners.

Week 6 Assembly

Congratulations Levi and Shikye, who were named Star of the Stage for their respective stages. Two very worthy recipients! Waratah 2 shared some of their writing and we handed out some more ribbons from the Athletics Carnival. We still have the high jump events to conduct before we can name the age and house champions. Congratulations to our Gotcha Draw winners - Hayley, Alexia and Eli, and to Waratah 3 who were named Class of the Week!

Inspired Artists

Waratah 2 students are currently creating beautiful artwork inspired by the book Rabbit, Soldier, Angel, Thief by Katrina Nannestad. Their vibrant meadow scenes depict one of the most meaningful images from the story so far. The students are enjoying the opportunity to connect creatively with the novel.

Week 5 in Boronia 1 🌏🐨💻

Students have had a busy week of learning as they explored the world’s oceans with Mr Walsh, completed mathematics testing on the laptops, and immersed themselves in Australian animals through movement and dance in Dirraybang Footprint with Jordan to the sounds of clapsticks. In Mathematics, we investigated 3D shapes by drawing them on our desks while learning about vertices, sides and faces. We also continued building our spelling skills by practising our weekly words.

Walking to School? Keep It Safe and Fun !🚶🏼‍♀️🚸

Tomorrow is Walk Safely to School Day! What a great opportunity for students to enjoy the fresh air, get active and learn important road safety skills!

✅ Tips for safe walking:
- Stop, look and listen for traffic before stepping onto the road
- Use footpaths and pedestrian crossings
- Hold hands with younger children
- Wait for the green walk signal before crossing
- Be aware of cars and cyclists
- Always walk, don’t run, across roads

Let’s work together to keep our kids safe as they walk to school. Thank you for supporting healthy habits and road safety!

Week 5 Infants Assembly

Star of the Stage honours were announced at this week’s assembly. Well done to Danica, Evie and Abby, 3 wonderful examples of what it means to be a Star of the Stage! Eucalypt delighted us with a dance and we acknowledged Tanaha’s cross country achievements. Congratulations to Boronia 1 on being named Class of the Week.
