🦖 Dinosaur Visit! 🦕

Last Wednesday, we were so excited to welcome My Pet Dinosaur for a very special visit!

The children had an amazing time learning about different types of dinosaurs—how they lived, what they ate, and how we discover them through fossils.

They even got to meet three friendly dinosaurs Toby, Annie, and Tilly they loved being able to see and touch them up close!

One of the highlights was a hands-on fossil treasure hunt in the sand, where the children became little paleontologists, searching for hidden fossils. We also enjoyed a fun dinosaur-themed painting activity 🎨

It was a fantastic experience filled with learning, laughter, and excitement. What a special day! 💚

Yesterday, we celebrated our year-end party at the centre, cherishing the many good memories we created throughout the year. It was a joyful picnic day where families gathered to relax, connect, and celebrate together. The event was filled with laughter and meaningful moments, with fun and engaging activities specially arranged for the children as well. It truly was a memorable day of togetherness and celebration.
Thank you for spending a year with us. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you. Here’s to another year filled with lots of laughter, beautiful memories, meaningful conversations, and so much more. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. 🎉✨

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated our preschoolers’ graduation. Watching them take this step forward reminded us how quickly they grow and how brightly their futures shine.

To our Possum children, We have watched you grow, learn, and explore so much this year. Thank you for filling our days with laughter, curiosity, and unforgettable memories. Possums, we are so proud of you, and we cannot wait to see you thrive on your next journey.

🧪🫧 Handwashing Science Fun!
Today the children did a pepper and dishwashing liquid experiment to learn how soap helps keep our hands clean. The pepper represented germs, and when we added soap, the “germs” quickly moved away!
This simple activity showed the children that soap helps remove germs, and that washing with just water isn’t enough. They loved watching the reaction and learning why handwashing is so important!

Clean hands = Healthy bodies! 💛🦠

A collaborative tribute for Remembrance Day.

Our Possum children have been working so thoughtfully on a special collaborative art piece to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have defended our nation in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
Earlier this week, the children took part in a colouring activity, contributing to a collective artwork for Remembrance Day. They also watched a touching animated short film, featuring gentle instrumental music and expressive bunny characters that beautifully depict the emotions of war and remembrance.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.”

Today we had some very cute visitors — ducklings!
One of our friends and his mummy brought in some baby ducklings for us to meet. The children were so excited and thrilled to see them waddling around. They were able to feel, touch, and listen to the ducklings, and the most exciting part was getting to give them cuddles! It was such a wonderful hands-on experience, and the children absolutely loved every moment. Thank you for visiting us!! 🐥💛
