ISAAC DAWE
Isaac was voted STUDENT OF THE WEEK for Week 9, Term 1 2025. Isaac has a great attitude towards lessons and band rehearsals and is always working hard in sessions, he is a focused student. Isaac always turns up to lessons and band rehearsals organised and prepared. He is ready to take on any challenge.

Who inspires me to play: John Frusciante from the Chilli Peppers
What I like about learning music: It makes a good hobby
What I like about music lessons: Learning different songs and different techniques of playing guitar
What motivates me: the thought of eventually being really good at playing
Advice to other students: keep playing even if you get bored of it, because it will be fun again eventually.

Our Story
Bathurst Academy of Music is a tuition centre of over 300 students across 19 schools. The Academy offer one-on-one musical tuition service with band programs, ensembles, dance classes and mentoring programs for aspiring musicians and those wishing to develop their skills in the creative arts.
Music lessons at the Academy aim to develop students' practical and performance skills on their instrument and an understanding of music theory, using the latest technology, teaching methods and a focus on the music of today.
Music Lesson Details
Lessons take place on a weekly basis and aim to develop students' technical and performance skills on their instrument as well as an understanding of music theory. There is a focus on each student's individual interests and musical taste, and students are encouraged to learn the style of music they enjoy. Students can choose from one-on-one lessons, or learning with a group of friends for a discounted price.
