What a busy few weeks it has been for CDM! 😮💨
A BIG congratulations to my AMEB students who all passed their exams with flying colours this year!! 🎺
And just quietly another proud moment for myself with another year of a 100% high mark pass success rate!
On Monday the Bathurst Eisteddfod held its band day-
Congratulations to all competitors and bands who performed at the Bathurst Eisteddfod.
A heartfelt mention goes to the wonderful organisers and volunteers, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed! 👏🤗
A few special mentions must go to:
Wing It Jazz - for coming 1st place in the 7-12 jazz band section and 2nd place in the Open stage band section. The attention to detail in your playing was just outstanding! Super job! 🎷🕊️🤘🎸
Bathurst City & RSL Youth Band- for placing 2nd in the years 7-12 and Open orchestra/concert band section against some very high class competition and bands. It was super close with only one point between 1st and 2nd!🥈🤩
Cathedral Catholic Primary School, Bathurst beginner and concert band- (beginner band) for taking out 1st place in your first ever eisteddfod! For a little band you guys did just fantastic! Great team work, I’m so proud! 😃👏 🏆
And to the concert band for placing 2nd in the intermediate section with only one point between 1st and 2nd place! You should all be extremely proud of your hard work this year! Hold your heads high! Well done! 🙏
Bathurst South Public School NSW DoE beginner and concert band- (beginner band) for placing 3rd in what was your first ever eisteddfod! Keep up the practice and commitments in your musical journey! Well done!🎶
And to the Concert Band taking out a 3rd place in the intermediate concert band section! Your playing, watching the conductor and team work was super! ⭐️
A special mention goes to drum student Leo for receiving the most outstanding percussionist award two years in a row! 🥁🏆
