WELLNESS WEDNESDAY ๐๐๐
We don't always feel our best, and sometimes that can feel scary.
Just remember...One step. One task. One day at a time.
You don't need to have everything figured out to keep going.

COMMUNITY ACCESS
๐๏ธ B1 enjoyed an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of Optus Stadium, where they explored the stadium, learned about its history, and took in the impressive views.
๐ B2 ventured to IKEA Perth to explore the store, learn about home furnishings and retail operations, and practice important life skills such as budgeting, decision-making, and navigating a public environment. They also purchased items and set up their beautiful calm corner for their classroom!
โจ What a fantastic day out for our students! Both excursions provided wonderful opportunities to build social connections, engage with the community, develop practical skills, and create lasting memories together.

๐ฑCreating Screen Time Boundaries for Wellbeing
Healthy screen habits start with clear boundaries. Set screen-free times, take regular breaks, and be intentional about how you spend your time online. Creating balance between digital and offline activities can improve focus, sleep, and overall wellbeing.
Set limits that support your wellbeing, not restrict it.

๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅDRUMBEAT๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
This program uses group drumming to help students develop social and emotional skills. Through music and teamwork activities, students learn about communication, resilience, self-confidence, and positive relationships. The program encourages cooperation, builds a sense of belonging, and supports student wellbeing in a fun and engaging way. Our students have also enjoyed learning key techniques for playing the Djembe drum, including bass, tone, slap, rain, scratch, and rumble sounds, which contribute to the drumโs rich and expressive rhythms.
