Today we celebrate the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, brothers, mentors and special men who play such an important role in the lives of our students.

Thank you for the love, encouragement, guidance and support you give each day. Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines, helping with homework, sharing a laugh, offering a listening ear or simply being there — your presence makes a lasting difference.

Our students (and staff!) certainly brought the crazy to Crazy Hair Day! From colourful creations and wild styles to some seriously creative hairdos, our school was full of fun and fabulous hairstyles!

A huge thank you to our wonderful families for getting behind the day and donating a gold coin to support LifeLink. 💛 Every little bit helps and we’re so grateful for your generosity.

It was a fantastic day filled with smiles, creativity and plenty of crazy hair!

What an INCREDIBLE day for our Senior and Junior Choirs at the Performing Arts Festival today!

Our students were absolutely exceptional, delivering a performance filled with confidence, joy and beautiful music. Their voices filled the room and left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. 👏🎵

A very special thank you to our amazing parents, who were undoubtedly the best audience members imaginable! Your support, encouragement and pride meant the world to our students. Seeing so many tears of joy at the end of the performance and hearing the biggest, most heartfelt applause was a beautiful reminder of how special this occasion truly was. ❤️

A huge thank you to our fantastic percussionist Mr Murray and Mrs Barlow for their fantastic percussion accompaniment. Your contributions added so much energy and excitement to the performance!

Special thanks also to our dedicated choir directors, Mrs Reid and Mrs Reedman, for their passion, commitment and countless hours of preparation. The success of today’s performance is a testament to your hard work and leadership.

This is truly a performance we will never forget. We are so proud of every single choir member for representing our school so wonderfully.

What an incredible Book Week we’ve had at GS! 💙📖

Our school was filled with imagination, creativity and a whole lot of book-inspired fun! From magical characters and adventurous heroes to much-loved storybook favourites, our students and staff embraced the spirit of Book Week and brought their favourite stories to life. 🌈🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐻

A huge thank you to our wonderful families for helping create such amazing costumes and for encouraging a love of reading at home. ❤️

Most importantly, Book Week reminds us that every story has the power to inspire, transport us to another world and help us see life through someone else’s eyes. 🌟

CRAZY HAIR DAY!

Get ready to get creative with your hair! On Friday 4th September, we’re holding Crazy Hair Day to raise money for Lifelink.

Students are invited to wear their craziest, funniest and most creative hairstyles for a gold coin donation.

All money raised will go towards Lifelink, supporting children and families in Western Australia who are doing it tough.

So start planning those wild hairstyles and get ready for a day of fun, creativity and fundraising!

Good Shepherd has transformed its Early Learning outdoor environments into immersive, faith-filled landscapes inspired by the Seven Days of Creation and Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Designed collaboratively with staff and enriched through student-created sensory signage, the spaces integrate play, learning, sustainability and spirituality, enabling children to encounter Scripture daily. Each play zone reflects a day of Creation, prioritising relationships, wellbeing, stewardship, exploration and wonder. The new dedicated “Shepherd’s Space” welcomes families, representing Christ’s love and care. Through authentic engagement, all are invited to recognise God in the world around them, care for our common home and actively live the Gospel.

🌟🎶 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE! 🎶🌟

We could not be prouder of our Good Shepherd Year 5 Choir, who represented our school at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival in Sacred Choral! 💙

From the very first note to the very last, our choir sang absolutely heavenly! Their beautiful voices, confidence, musicality and sheer joy filled the performance space and left us bursting with pride. ✨🎶

They were truly INCREDIBLE!! a shining example of the talent, dedication and spirit of our Good Shepherd students. They have worked so hard, supported one another and stepped onto that stage with such confidence and heart. What a special group of young performers! 🌟

To our amazing Year 5 Choir, you should be so incredibly proud of yourselves. We certainly are! You represented Good Shepherd with such distinction and gave a performance that we will remember for a long time. 💙👏

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our wonderful staff for all your support. We are incredibly grateful. ❤️

Concert Band Performing Arts Festival! 🎶

Our Senior Concert Band performed in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. They truly did us proud 🤩

While the music was incredible, what made the evening so special was seeing our students embrace what performance is really all about: courage, teamwork, growth, and the joy of sharing their talents with others.

Thank you to our amazing families who came to support our kids. Our families looked just as excited as the students after the performance! Such a memorable moment for us all!

We are incredibly proud of every member of the band and the enthusiasm, dedication, and positivity they brought to the stage.

We could not have done it without all the support from our whole school community!

Thank you to our amazing band director Mr Coleman preparing our students so well!!
