Bargo Child Care Centre

Bargo Child Care Centre Bargo CCC is an Early Learning Centre catering for children aged 2-5 years of age πŸ“š Our service is run by Qualified and experienced Educators.

Caring and friendly Educators are involved in current training and strive to provide quality care and a positive learning environment. We provide experiences that are fun and educational with a focus on children's interests and family input. We are proud of the work we do and the relationships we have with the families at our Centre. We have had many families make positive comments on our School R

eadiness Program. We find the children that leave us to start school are prepared and confident learners. Children enjoy a variety of learning experiences indoors and outdoors. There are opportunities to care for the vegetable garden and small animals, participate in art and craft, writing and drawing, cognitive and dramatic play experiences. Children have their own little age groups to work with Educators in which music, language and social development is important.

Last week we celebrated Pyjama Week, and the children absolutely loved coming to preschool each day in their cosy jammies! Throughout the week, we participated in a range of fun, pyjama themed activities while also exploring the concept of different types of families, which was our focus for the week. The children enjoyed engaging in meaningful discussions and experiences that supported their understanding of diversity and belonging. πŸ’€

This week, our centre proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week through a range of engaging and meaningful experiences for the children. πŸ–€πŸ’›β€οΈ

Throughout the week, the children explored Aboriginal culture in ways that were hands-on and age-appropriate. They participated in arts and crafts inspired by Indigenous styles, explored Aboriginal symbols through sensory play, and enjoyed creating music using rhythm and sound. We also spent time listening to Dreamtime stories, helping the children begin to understand the importance of storytelling in Aboriginal culture. β•οΈγ€°οΈπŸ”†πŸŒ€

These experiences provided opportunities for the children to build awareness, respect, and appreciation for Australia’s First Nations peoples, all while learning through play and exploration at their own level. 🦘🐨
