👔 Father’s Day Stall 👔

💙 Thursday 3rd September
💙 Children will visit the school in set time slots with their class to purchase
💙 items ranging from $2 to $12 in cost, children can buy multiple items if they wish
🌟 The P&C are asking for volunteers to help with stall in the 9.00-10.30am or 11.30am - 1.00pm time slots, please message below if you are able to help

🌟 Playgroup Session 2 🌟

Join us again today at Bargara State School for playgroup 9.00-10.45am in our Prep Playground.

Mrs Steele and Mrs Bacon look forward to welcoming children from our community 0-5 years and their families to another fun week of activities to support learning through play and feeling comfortable and connected to school environments to support their future transitions.

See the flyer in the photos for other playgroup dates. Our next playgroup will be held on Friday 18th of September.

🌟♻️ Uniform Donations Needed ♻️ 🌟

Bargara Sate School keeps a supply of pre-loved uniforms on hand in the office. These are a big part of our ability to support our students and families emergent needs. This also supports our Reef Guardian philosophy of recycling and our strong sense of community support. ♻️

🌟 We currently have a shortage of older students uniforms Size 8 and above
🌟 Any donations of any sized clothing are gratefully received

Clothing we keep on hand-
⚪️ School polos and senior polos
⚪️ School dresses
⚪️ Green school shorts, skorts or skirts
⚪️ Green tracksuit pants or jumpers
⚪️ White or black socks
⚪️ Sports house shirts

Donations of clean uniforms in fair condition are always gratefully received. 🙏🏻

Please drop off to our office at anytime your children have outgrow, you are moving on or you have a surplus. 😊

Book Week- Week 7

We look forward to seeing children dressing as their favourite book character tomorrow for Book Week. Please remember to wear something that is suitable for lunchtime play also or clothes underneath/ to change into if necessary to feel comfortable throughout the day. We will have a special parade in the hall at 2.00pm that parents are welcome to attend if they wish.

Mrs Lowe will hold Book Week activities Monday to Thursday this week in the library at first lunch breaks to celebrate a love of reading.

Book Fair will be held in Week 8.

🐠 Prep Swimming 🐠

Our Preps are like little fish, enjoying their Learn to Swim lessons. We look forward to see them grow in confidence and water safety awareness as we progress through our lessons in the coming weeks.

🌟 Playgroup 🌟

Mrs Steele and Mrs Dyba enjoyed welcoming children 0-5 years and their families into our school for a morning of fun learning through play and early phonics, oral language and literacy experiences.

It was wonderful to host Creative Kids Childcare and connect with Kindy children and families.

Playgroup will run for another 5 Friday mornings. It is a wonderful way to support children understanding and transition to school as well as for families wanting to learn more about Bargara State School for their child’s future education. This program is free and open to all community members.
