⚽ Our kindy children enjoyed reading Luna Roo during National Simultaneous Storytime, learning about courage, confidence, friendship, and believing in themselves. Inspired by the excitement of the Soccer World Cup, they then created their own soccer players, encouraging creativity, imagination, and self-expression! 🌍✨

Today’s baking adventure was so much more than a recipe; it was a moment of collaboration, communication and joyful problem‑solving. As the children measured, poured, mixed and negotiated roles, they were building early numeracy, strengthening fine‑motor control, and practising the social skills that help them thrive in a group.

Biggest Morning Tea 💛
Our second year supporting this beautiful cause.

Your kindness, generosity, and community spirit helped make this event so special. From sharing a cuppa to coming together for such an important cause, we are so grateful to have such a beautiful village surrounding our children and centre.
At Little Ducks, we truly believe in teaching children the importance of being involved in our community, showing kindness, and supporting those in need. Events like these are such a meaningful way to help our little ones understand the value of compassion and giving back.we truly believe and today was a beautiful reminder of just how lucky we are to have ours 🦆💛

On Thursday was more than just making pasta 🍝🌿
One of our beautiful mums joined us to share a special cultural cooking experience with the children — from picking fresh basil straight from our garden to creating homemade pasta together.
Moments like these remind us how lucky we are to be surrounded by such a supportive and connected community. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are so grateful for every family who helps make our centre feel like home.

To all the mums, thank you for trusting us to be part of your village. We hope you felt celebrated, appreciated and loved today, because you truly deserve it all.
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us

Our Educational Leaders meet monthly to engage in purposeful networking and collaborative, research-informed professional learning.
Together, we are strengthening our collective understanding of high-quality leadership in early childhood education - building capacity, sharing expertise, and driving continuous improvement across our communities.

Today, we are doing a deep dive into leadership strategies, mentoring, and child-safe cultures. We look forward to bringing this learning back to our centres!

Today we celebrated a truly special milestone, 11 wonderful years of our Little Ducks Bardon community 💛
This morning, we had the pleasure of hosting a breakfast for our incredible families and dedicated staff as a small way to say thank you. Thank you for your trust, your support, and for being such an important part of our journey.
Over the years, we’ve watched little ones grow, families become lifelong friends, and our centre blossom into a place filled with love, laughter, and learning. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you.

Our children’s council was gathered today to talk about what helps us feel safe at Little Ducks, Bardon and who we can go to when we feel sad or worried. The children shared their thoughtful ideas about feeling safe in our environment. They spoke about their teachers and how they keep them safe, as well as the toys and spaces they enjoy playing in.
