Here’s the perfect combo of imagination and realism by Abby. She’s beautifully intertwined soft washes of watercolour with detailed pencil work.
Our Wednesday crew drew their beetles from scratch, focusing on proportions and 3D form.
Each beetle has been drawn using hundreds of dots to show shadow, highlights and detail. 🌸🌸
It warms my heart to see the students happily captivated in the pleasure of painting their winter landscapes.
The focus was on capturing the fleeting light reflected on the snow, using subtle tones of violet, powder blue and indigo.
