Throughout the decades, any time and everyone I saw you, it was real pleasure to be around you, talk, laugh, chat, and just hang out as you do at events...

The world you have done has resonated around the world and really put Canada on the map globally.. Fom all those years ago at the LA Salsa congress till now, you always made your mark.

My sincerest prayers go out to you are your family. It's been almost 1 year exactly (23rd March) since we last spoke. Sad it won't happen again 😞 😢 😪

*** FEELING BLESSED ***
For those who know me, you know that competing has never been my thing. I do it for others, not for myself—it’s simply not a part of who I am. But despite that, it gives me something I deeply cherish: the chance to dance alongside some of the most incredible people and watch them transform in ways that are nothing short of magical.

This weekend at the World Salsa Solo, we reached the end of our 2024 journey, a journey shared with seven extraordinary individuals who have touched my heart and inspired me in ways they may never fully realize. Each one came with their own unique personality—strengths, weaknesses, fears, and moments of courage. And yet, together, they became more than just a team; they became a family, a little sub-group of the LDA family: Jaime’s Angels.

Through this journey, I’ve witnessed something truly special. I’ve seen them grow, break through barriers, push beyond their limits, and achieve dreams they once thought were out of reach. Watching them on that stage, their hard work shining in every step, filled me with indescribable pride and joy. These moments are the ones that stay with you forever.

Today, I leave the World Salsa Solo with a full heart, overwhelmed by the memories we’ve created. I’m exhausted, completely run-down, battered, and bruised, but I wouldn’t trade a single second of it. Every ounce of effort was worth it to see them walk away as winners—not just in the competition, but in life.

Next year, I’ll do it all over again. A new chapter awaits. Maybe some of these familiar faces will return; maybe new ones will join. Whoever steps forward, I’ll be ready. My heart and soul are prepared to dive in again for 2025.
