Joe's MAN is almost complete! What a neat and tidy fitout! There's plenty of off-grid goodies in this one too!

The best part about building your own Skoolie bus is you get to do whatever you like!
A massive thanks to Murals on The Moove for turning the old MAN into a moving landscape!
What do you guys think?

Anyone built something similar? Of planning too?

A bit of progress on "Barney the Bus" lately with the installation of the whole power system...done in a day!
We've gone with a plug and play kit from Enerdrive Pty Ltd which is arguably the simplest way to do it. It basically has all the main components (inverter, dc to dc, 240v & solar chargers) pre-wired on one big power board, which we fitted under the bench seat inside (Barney doesn't have storage bins yet).
Plus, even the 240V cabling is supplied to caravan/motorhome specifications with plug and play connections, so it's a simple DIY job that can be certified quite easily. Even the main 240V Inlet had its own circuit breaker built into it.
The batteries are twin 200Ah Lithium batteries from Enerdrive, which will be plenty for our needs.
Looking forward to testing it all out, will give you all a closer look soonish!

Too much wood? Or just enough?
Either way, it looks like a great spot to wash some dishes, eh?

Need somewhere to build your bus?
Unfortunately, we had to move off our property before before we managed to get Barney the bus Finnished.
So, we decided to load everything we own (after selling heaps) into a 40ft shipping container and parked the bus and container next to each other on a friend's farm. Then, we reorganised the shipping container and made a bit of a 'makeshift' workshop to continue the whole bus building process! And so the fun continues!

Haha, who can relate to this one?

***Progress Update***
Made some good progress on our project bus, AKA "Barneys", cabinetry lately.
Pic 1: The fridge cabinet now incorperates a full-sized pull-out pantry, which basically rolls out on caster wheels. The pigeon hole storage spots up on top will house a few wooden trays full of bits and bobs.
Pic 2: Also got started on a little desk/work hub setup for the computer ect, which back's onto the pantry. The wooden box in front of it will store all of our paper work (files ect) and double as a seat once I fit a proper chair on top of it.
Pic 3: The new lounge/day bed! It's a simple pull out design, and will store our batteries underneath it.

On a scale of 1 to 10, what would you rate it?
We're always suckers for a quality modern-rustic fit out. That skylight is pretty awesome too! We'll give it a solid 10/10!

Could you call this home?
Absolutely love the bench top...
