Did you know a good story starts with a good plan? Planning is the most important step and it is half the work in the writing process. A plan is a road map guiding students to know exactly how to start their story, the problems the character encounters and how the story will end. Planning avoids students making things up as they write. Effective planning helps students improve their writing.
