at the talk we prioritise the importance of knowing the anatomical terms for our body parts.
there are many reasons for this, but one of the most important is being able to advocate for yourself and your body when you need to.
cute nicknames or abbreviations for body parts may feel more comfortable to use, but we need to make sure we are able to communicate effectively and advocate for ourselves with people who may be unfamiliar with these slang terms or nicknames.

at the talk we think this is a super helpful skill to learn and think it is extremely beneficial for young people to be aware of. this can help when it comes to making the best possible choices in social scenarios.
