Swim Club will be starting up again in Term 4 and we are seeking more people to join the committee and take on a volunteer role for the 26/27 Season.
With brand new change room facilities and our freshly painted pool ready to go this year – 2026/2027 swim club is set to be the best year by far!! But this is only possible with your help.
Thank you to those that have already come forward. The following positions to be filled include:
Swim Club Committee:
• President
• Vice-President
• Data Assistance - we will be moving to using a new app which will simplify the process of nominating for and organising meets. We will need help with getting this ready to use.
• Head Marshall – Lead the marshalling process at swim meets, develop roster as needed. Time: Friday night swim meets
• Race Official – Control the running of heats at swim meets including starting heats, ensuring timekeepers are in position, and ensuring safe entry/exit from the pool by swimmers. Time: Friday night swim meets
• BBQ
We will also need timers each week but this is a more fluid volunteering position which changes each week.
Training, guidance and procedures are available for all roles. If you can help with any of these roles, please send an email with your Expression of Interest to [email protected] or PM us on our page.

The beautiful Belinda was on the radio this morning. Earnshaw State College is currently coming 3rd. They pick the top 5 school based on votes. So, let's get the votes happening. Get your kids to do it if over 18 (as per terms and conditions-attached) or grandparents, both parents, community friends etc. Let's get an awesome treat for the kids that we know they all deserve!

So what we would get if we win
- KIIS FM come to the school to broadcast (great publicity)
- Dagwood dogs
- Games with prizes like show bags.

Tomorrow a Parent will be on Kiss FM (97.3fm) at 7.40am to talk to Robin Kip and Corey about her entry and hopefully we have been selected. The producer said we have had "LOTS OF EARNSHAW NOMINATIONS". So fingers crossed!! Thank you for the support Team Earnshaw!!!

📢 Uniform Committee – Calling for More Members!

The Earnshaw P&C is forming a Uniform Committee and we're looking for a few more parents and students to join the team.

We've already received some interest through the school newsletter, but we'd love to welcome a few additional members. This is a great opportunity to have a say in matters relating to the school uniform.

Meeting dates and times are yet to be confirmed, and these meetings will be separate from the monthly P&C meetings.
