Celebrating Centaur Alumni Leadership for 2027! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share the outstanding achievements of our past Centaur students, who continue to inspire with their hard work, dedication, and leadership in their high schools.

Congratulations to Bella, newly appointed School Captain at Kingscliff High School, and Kyra, elected School Captain of Tweed River High. Your resilience, empathy, and commitment to your communities truly embody the Centaur spirit.

A special mention to our Centaur alumni at Banora Point High School: Captain Rosie, Vice Captains Zoey and Daniel, and School Councillor Jasmine. It was a privilege to witness so many Centaur graduates receive awards for their efforts and see them take on important leadership roles.

Your Centaur family is cheering you on every step of the way—we can’t wait to see the positive impact you’ll make as leaders in 2027! 🚀✨🎉💙

📚✏️ Rural North Writing Initiative — Term 3 update!

Teachers from Centaur Public School and Banora Point High School have been participating in "learning walks" this term — high school staff observing primary writing lessons to help bridge the gap between primary and high school writing practices.

From "bumping up" a simple sentence, working on sentence level grammar to building confident paragraphs (even in Geography! 🌏), it's been a fantastic example of our two schools working together for smoother Stage 3 → Stage 4 transitions.

Great things happen when schools learn from each other! 🤝
