It's Saturday, and while everyone else is enjoying the weekend, look what Lisa, our Preschool Teacher, and our team of Educators have been up to in the Preschool room. 📚

Book Week starts next week and the room has been completely transformed.

There's an underwater world with clouds and rain hanging from the ceiling. A jungle corner asking can we make a giraffe. A witch's potion station straight out of Room on the Broom. The Gruffalo's deep dark wood, complete with trees. Australian animals in the sensory tray, and books absolutely everywhere you look. ✨

This is what our Educators do when they love what they do. Not a single one of them had to be asked.

Your children are going to walk in on Monday morning and their little faces are going to say it all. 💙

Turns out the best way to teach a toddler about teamwork is a bucket, a handful of balls, and a beautiful sunny Friday. ⚽

Our toddlers had an absolute ball at Sports Friday this week! 🏉

There was ball throwing, target practice, running, balancing along the rainbow beam, and a whole lot of very determined little faces giving it everything they had.

Behind all that fun, they're building gross motor skills, hand eye coordination, balance and confidence. Plus learning how to take turns and cheer each other on, which is a pretty big deal when you're two.

A big thank you to the team from Inspire Physical Wellness for running the session with our Cherubs. The children absolutely loved having you here! 💙

Only 3 sleeps until we take on Q1! 💪

Sunday morning, hundreds of climbers hit 1,331 stairs from Surfers Paradise street level to the SkyPoint Observation Deck, all raising funds for LIVIN and mental health awareness.

And here's the thing: you don't need to be an athlete. Walk it, jog it, take it one step at a time. Most people finish in around 20 minutes, and the view at the top is worth every single step.

Then it's straight into our hosted morning tea on Level 78. Live music, free merch, and a community that shows up for each other.

Nerang families, you've already met Jordyn at the door. Here's what you might not know about her.

Jordyn joined us from our Cherubs Banora Point centre, and she's the first Educator ever to transfer within the Cherubs family. She made such an impression at Banora that when the opportunity came up at Nerang, we knew exactly who we wanted here.

She's one of those rare Educators who walks into any room, babies through to preschool, and just clicks. The children engage with her instantly and she brings a calm, supportive presence wherever she goes. Behind the scenes she's the same, always backing her fellow Educators and keeping the day running smoothly for your child.

Honest, upfront, hardworking, and a great fundraiser for our Q1 Stair Challenge with LIVIN too.

Ever wondered what your little one would look like in a lab coat? 🔬

It's Science Week at Cherubs and our Preschoolers have gone full scientist. Funnels, measuring cylinders, pipettes and plenty of colourful potions. The concentration on these little faces says it all.

There's some serious mixing, measuring and pouring happening here, and underneath all the fun they're learning about volume, colour, cause and effect, and what happens when you tip the blue one into the green one (spoiler: magic).

Our Educators have set up the coolest little science lab and the children haven't stopped experimenting all week.

Who knows, we might just have a few future scientists on our hands. 🧪

Winter chills and artistic thrills. 🎨

Just another morning at Cherubs.

Rugged up and ready, our little ones headed outdoors with paintbrushes in hand and big ideas on their minds. Easels set up on the grass, the mud kitchen full of imaginary creations, and the whole outdoor space buzzing with that unmistakable energy.

Rain or shine, crisp or warm, our children are outside. That is how we do it here.

This is what our Babies Room looks like when our Educators Bec and Makayla get creative. 💚

Sensory play is one of the most powerful learning experiences for babies. Every squelch, swirl and squeeze is building neural pathways, developing fine motor skills and teaching little ones about texture, colour and cause and effect. All through play.

This week Bec and Makayla created the most incredible green sensory tray complete with colourful animal friends tucked throughout. The babies absolutely loved every second of it.

The Babies Room at Cherubs is in very good hands.
