Free veggies with your pickup today? Yes please 🌱

Our little gardeners have been busy, and this week the Cherubs Community Garden has delivered a bumper crop of eggplants. They're sitting in a basket at the front, grown, watered and very proudly picked by your children. Please help yourself on your way through 🩵

There's something special about watching a child water a tomato plant, wait for it, then finally pick what they grew. Patience, care and a bit of science, all before morning tea. And dinner tastes a little better when "I grew that" comes with it.

3, 2, 1... LIFT OFF 🚀

Science and Space Day is GO at Cherubs today. Our Educators were in early this morning building something special: a chalk solar system to walk from the sun to the outer planets, galaxy playdough, constellation painting, alien slime and a volcano ready to erupt 🌋

The best part? The learning hiding inside the fun. Cause and effect at the volcano, early maths counting planets on the solar system walk, fine motor strength in every ball of playdough. Your little astronauts will come home buzzing (and possibly a little green) 🩵

Expect some very excited mission reports at pickup this afternoon.

All aboard! Our babies are about to start travelling in style 🩵

Look what arrived at Cherubs today: brand new multi-seat strollers, built especially for our littlest adventurers. Big comfy seats, sunshades, five-point harnesses and a smooth ride, it's first class travel for tiny passengers.

And just look how stoked Bec is, the boxes had barely hit the foyer before the excitement took over 🩷

This means our babies get to be real explorers. Neighbourhood walks, fresh air, watching the world go by with their friends, all in complete comfort and safety with our Educators right there beside them. Some of the best learning happens outside the gate, and now our youngest Cherubs get to be part of it too.

If you're looking at baby care, we'd love to show you around. Places in our babies room are limited, so come along to a Stay and Play and see where your little one's adventures would begin. 2027 days are filling fast.

Tyres, tunnels, balance beams and buckets, our backyard turned into a full Ninja Warrior course this morning 🩷

Warrior Course day at Cherubs for the holiday program, and the children are taking it very seriously. Climbing the ramp wall, crawling through the tunnel, high stepping the tyres and wobbling across the balance beams, then straight back to the start to do it all again.

There is a lot of learning hiding in all that fun: balance, coordination, confidence, taking turns, and that proud little face when they conquer the obstacle that beat them the first time. Brave is built one wobbly beam at a time.

Tomorrow wraps up week one with Dress Up Day and face painting, and if your little one wants in, give us a ring this afternoon, the last casual spots for the week are nearly gone. Week two kicks off Tuesday after the long weekend with Art, Craft and Sparkle Day 🩵

Sprinklers on, sleeves up, and not a dry sock in the building 💦

Water Play Day at Cherubs is in full swing right now, and the backyard has turned into a little water wonderland. The car wash is pumping (wash, rinse, dry, the works), boats are cruising the river run, our little scientists are hard at work with funnels and buckets, and over at the baby bath time station, tiny hands are gently washing the babies with all the care in the world 🩵

It looks like play, and it is, but there is so much happening out there this morning: pouring and measuring, taking turns, caring for others, and the kind of focus you only get when children are completely lost in what they are doing. And with the sun out, this one is running all day.

Day three of the holiday program and the rest of the week is looking just as good. Swipe to the last photo for the full program, tomorrow is the Warrior Course and Friday is Dress Up Day with face painting. If your little one wants to jump into the fun, there are still a couple of casual spots going this week, first in, best dressed. From pretend baking to the real thing, and yes, they got to eat their work 🩷

Day two of our holiday program at Cherubs Banora Point, and our preschoolers took the baking play from their focus area and turned it into the real deal: fruit, chocolate and yoghurt pops, made entirely by little hands. Berries pressed in one by one, chocolate spooned with the concentration of tiny master chefs, and the proudest taste test you have ever seen.

This is what play-based learning looks like when it clicks. The play sparks the interest, the interest becomes a real skill, and your child comes home telling you they made their own icy pole (and asking to make them at home, sorry in advance 🩵).

There is plenty more where this came from all holidays. A few casual spots are still up for grabs this week if your little one wants in, and if you are planning ahead for 2027, come along to a Stay and Play and watch a day like this up close. The favourite days are going quickly.

The smell of fresh oranges, lemons and mint in the spring sunshine, this is what Tuesday looks like at Cherubs Banora Point 🍊🍋

Our spring citrus sensory tray had little hands exploring all morning, squeezing, splashing, sorting and discovering, and the holiday program is officially in full swing. Every day this week has something different on, and the children are loving every minute of it.

Robyn is the heartbeat of our day to day operations. With 20 years of experience in early childhood education, a diploma qualification and a certification in Bush Kindy, Robyn brings a depth of knowledge and a warmth to both our centres that is genuinely rare.

As Centre Director at Cherubs Banora Point and Operational Manager across both Banora and Nerang, Robyn works closely with Lisa and Ben and is the person who bridges ownership and the day to day, helping the culture, consistency and quality of care that Lisa has built stay constant across both sites.

Robyn recently guided Cherubs Banora Point through its Assessment and Rating against the National Quality Standard, a lovely reflection of the care the whole team puts into doing things the right way, every day.

Robyn has also been genuinely embraced by our incredible team at Nerang, who are excited to keep growing and developing with her support. The welcome has been the real deal, flowers included, as you can see 🩵 It is just incredible to see how well everyone gets along.

School holidays sorted, and you didn't have to plan a thing 🩵

Two whole weeks of adventures are ready and waiting at Cherubs Banora Point, and casual days mean you can grab exactly the days you need.

Week 1 (28 Sept to 2 Oct): Dance Party, Cooking Day, Water Fun Day, our famous Warrior Course, and Dress Up Day with face painting 🩷

Week 2 (6 to 9 Oct after the public holiday): Art, Craft and Sparkle Day, Space and Science Experiments, a Teddy Bear Picnic, and Hot Chips and Story Time to finish.

Working through the holidays? Need a day to catch your breath or spend one on one time with the big ones? Book a casual day (or a few) and your little one gets a full day of fun with our Educators and their friends, and comes home happy, tired and full of stories.
