Welcome back to all our families! We hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing school holiday break and is ready for the final term of the year.

Term 4 is always a busy and exciting time, with lots to look forward to as we approach the end of the school year. Please take a moment to check the important dates and mark your calendars for the upcoming events and end-of-year celebrations.

🏉🧡🖤 FRIDAY NIGHT RAFFLE – THANK YOU! 🖤🧡🏉

What a fantastic night of fundraising for our Banora Point Public School Boys Touch Football Team and the Tweed Heads Public School Girls Touch Football Team, as both teams prepare to head to Sydney for the NSWPSSA State Touch Football Finals! 🏆
Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community, an incredible $890 was raised, with the proceeds shared equally between the two schools. Each team received $445 to help support their journey to State! 👏

A huge congratulations to our boys, who did an outstanding job selling raffle tickets throughout the night. They represented our school with pride, showing great enthusiasm, confidence and teamwork. We are so proud of their efforts!

A very special thank you to Daryl Griffin and South Tweed Touch for organising the raffle and for their continued generosity and support. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have done to help our boys on their journey to State.

Thank you also to our wonderful parents, families, friends and school staff who came along, purchased tickets and supported the fundraiser. Your encouragement and generosity mean so much to our team. We are extremely fortunate to have such a supportive school and local sporting community behind us.

We hope everyone has had a relaxing and enjoyable break, with time to unwind, recharge, and spend quality moments with family and friends.

It is wonderful to welcome our students back for Term 4 - our final term of the year! We’re excited for the term ahead and look forward to making the most of the opportunities, experiences, and special moments we’ll share together. We can’t wait to see everyone back and ready to finish the year on a high!

As you know, we are so excited for our Boys Touch Football team, who have progressed to the PSSA State Final in Sydney in November! 🏉

When we return from the holidays, we will look at some fundraising opportunities to help support our team with the costs involved in travelling to Sydney.

A big thank you to South Tweed Stingers, who will be selling raffle tickets at Twin Towns Juniors on Friday night, with all proceeds being split between our school and Tweed Heads PS, whose girls team has also made the State Final.

As we wrap up another busy and rewarding term, we would like to wish our wonderful staff, students and families a safe, happy and restful holiday break.

Thank you for all your hard work, support and contributions throughout Term 3. We hope the holidays provide an opportunity to relax, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for another great term in Term 4!

🏉🏆 NORTH COAST CHAMPIONS! 💚💛
What an incredible achievement for our Banora Point Public School Boys Touch Football Team, who are officially 2026 North Coast Champions after defeating Hastings Public School 7–6 in an absolute thriller!

It was a hard-fought game from start to finish, with Hastings leading at half-time. Our boys showed incredible determination, composure and teamwork to fight their way back into the game and secure a fantastic 7–6 victory.

We could not be prouder of the way the boys played and represented Banora Point Public School. They worked for each other, never gave up and showed tremendous determination right until the final whistle.

A very special thank you to Trent Matheson and Michael Bodnar, who have generously given their time to help train and prepare the boys throughout their journey. Their knowledge, encouragement and support have been greatly appreciated and have played an important part in the team’s success.

A huge thank you also to all of our parents and families for their ongoing support - getting the boys to training sessions and games, travelling to matches and cheering them on from the sidelines. This achievement has been a real team effort both on and off the field.
Congratulations to Hastings Public School on a fantastic game and thank you for making the long trip from Port Macquarie. The match was played in great spirit and certainly kept everyone on the sideline on the edge of their seats!

And finally, congratulations to our boys – 2026 North Coast Champions! 🏆👏💚💛
