Savour The Tweed Saturday 24th October.
Stand where your food is grown. Meet the people who grow it. Then take your seat at the table.
I’m delighted to be collaborating with the Prichard family of Mate & Matt's Farm for Honouring Farm Traditions as part of Savour the Tweed.
We’ll begin with a guided walk through the sweet potato paddocks, hearing the stories behind generations of farming on the Cudgen Plateau, before gathering in the packing shed for a relaxed long-table lunch inspired by the farm and our remarkable local producers.
My menu celebrates the incredible versatility of sweet potatoes alongside seasonal produce from the farm garden and the wonderful team at Jumping Red Ant. It’s a menu designed to nourish, connect and showcase the flavours of our region.
If you love knowing where your food comes from and meeting the people who grow it, I’d love you to join us.
